i had to watch the video of it to teach people some of the material and realized it was COMPLETELY insane to do that dance while i was sixth months pregnant in front of all those people. i stand by my choice but at the same time someone should have told me i was an idiot.

the real point of me writing this down is not to say what a fool i am but instead to write out to the universe hoping someone (aka emily wexler) will know one other person/band that has recorded “don’t be cruel” other than the judds, elvis (obvs) and billy swann.

this will surely result in a lot of mistakes and calls to my friends who actually understand html. if you are reading this (which only emily is) then be warned.

and in the first grade i wrote about how i wanted to be an artist because he was. and today while trying to find some images for the piece i’m working on with mofo i realized i’d never actually seen his face. never been shown an actual photograph of what he looked like. even though his paintings are on all of our family walls.

Since beginning I have tried to learn more about spina bifida and how it affects the body differently for each person.
